Prescriptions for medicine taken regularly can be obtained without seeing your doctor once they have agreed to this.

Prescriptions can be ordered via the NHS App, registering with your chosen Pharmacy and via prescription request boxes in Reception where the request must be made in writing. 

72 hours notice is necessary excluding weekends and Bank Holidays after which prescriptions can be collected after 14:00.

Please note as of October 2026 the Practice utilises the Electronic Prescription service (EPS). Once you have nominated a pharmacy your prescription will be electronically sent directly to the pharmacy of your choice. You can nominate a pharmacy by either contacting the pharmacy of your choice directly or by letting us know.
